In the midst of the "IM23" movement and the Rwandan armed forces launched a new attack on the Democratic Republic of Congo and took control of several regions.
"We successfully carried out an operation against the enemy. We took our freedom back," said the representative of the "IM23" movement.
According to local authorities, as a result of the fighting, several civilians were killed and wounded, and a significant number of people were forced to flee their homes due to the insurgents' advance.
