The United Nations Organization confirmed on Friday that the conflict in Congo has led to the flight of 63 thousand refugees.
According to the statements of the organization's representatives, the situation in the region continues to deteriorate, forcing people to seek refuge in neighboring countries. The main reasons for this migration are intense hostilities and human rights violations.
The UN stated that recently the number of refugees from Congo has significantly increased, and they urgently need humanitarian assistance.
"The situation in Congo remains extremely tense, and we need to take measures to provide aid to refugees," emphasized the UN.
